I was at a friends house waiting outside,I don’t know why I looked to the west about 5 to 10 minutes after sunset.There was still plenty of light but the sun had set behind the trees a few minutes earlier and all of a sudden I saw an orange translucent orb(similar to setting sun but very much smaller) about tree top high going from north to south.It went behind trees and back into view and kept going at the same hight and speed.I was wondering in my mind what could it be,a mylar balloon,a large bubble of some type,I just could not figure it out,I was just so stunned.I watched it for several seconds,there was no traffic at all at the time in fact there was no sounds at all,no kids no dogs,no birds not even insects it’s as if everything stopped for a few seconds,no sound at all,and no sound from the object,and no wind to push it if it was a balloon or bubble.A minute or two later my friend’s sister came home from work and I asked her if she saw it,she looked at me funny and said nooo!I guess she thought I was crazy so I never told anyone else about it.I now carry a digital camera with me in hopes of another sighting.

The only reason I am posting this is because I saw similar postings. My husband, sister along with myself were sitting on the back patio Monday night around 9:30PM and I saw a very bright white light coming from the west, heading east, shaped like a star. It appeared to be wobbling, almost traveling snakelike across the sky. I was looking straight up at it and it was probably between 500 and a 1000 feet up. I told my sister and husband to look at it and asked them if they thought it was a plane because I didn’t. They didn’t know what it was either and it made no noise. We studied it for about a minute, the my husband started to make fun of me about it being a UFO but I told him it looked like it was wobbling and he said,”yeah, you’re right, it is.” As it moved more east it suddenly dimmed then completely dissappeared. We had observed a plane traveling west at the same time and knew what that was immediately. We sat there for a few minutes discussing what we saw and we don’t have a clue. It was such a brillant bright light and the experienced lasted around 4 or 5 minutes. We never saw it reappear. I wish I had got a photo of it but by the time I thought about it, it had disappeared.

I went out side for a smoke. As always i looked up to see the stars and saw a craft flying slowly directly overhead. there was no sound, the only light was the light from the stree lights etc. reflecting off the craft. As soon as I saw it I yelled inside for my relatives to come see. The only one to get out in time was my son. He saw the craft but not in the detail I did when it was right over head. I really want to know what this thing was. This is a heavily populated area. there must have been other witnesses who also seen this.

I was at home and was planning to smoke a cigarette on my terrace when i noticed a big red glowing thing in the sky right on top of the house of my neighbor. i thought it was a plane but it was round and glowing and had no sound,then thought it’s a flare until i noticed that it had small white lights on top of it and it was flying steady across the sky to my house’s direction.I had to go back inside to get my phone to call my sister who lives right beside me to see it too,but i called out her name instead of taking my eyes of it by dialing her number.she came out and saw it too. it flew straight,and i lost sight of it when it went past my house,the roof of my house covered my sight where it headed to.

I was on Raytown Road and 63rd Street sitting at a red light. I was heading to a friend’s house. I noticed the object because a lady in the car next to me had out a video camera and was pointing it at the sky. When I first saw the object I knew it was a UFO because I have never seen anything like that before. I am familiar with commercial airplanes and military airplanes and this was neither. The object was hovering over the Raytown Water Tower. It hovered for five seconds from when I first saw it, then it rose up ten feet flipped over and slowly flew down Raytown Road toward the west. I chased after it and all of a sudden it emitted a black contrail and increased speed dramatically and disappeared. I thought it was the craziest thing I have ever seen and didn’t think anyone would believe me. A friend of my sister posted on facebook that her son had spotted a UFO in the Lee’s Summit Mo area. After I spotted the UFO I called KMBC news and they reported four or five spottings of the same aircraft.

Six adults and two small children were just finishing dinner at my sister’s house in Trooper, Pa. when, at about 9 PM, my brother-in-law went out to the mailbox to check for mail. He came running back in excitedly yelling, “Hurry, everybody come outside before you miss it”. We all went out on the front porch and looked up. There were about 12 bright lights, yellowish-white, flying in formation almost directly above us. They appeared to be fairly low (500-1,000 ft. high) in the sky and were absolutely silent and moving slowly. We observed them for about 5 minutes until they flew out of sight. I even went into the back yard where there was no noise and cupped my ear to the sky as the last one passed, but there was still no sound at all. I called 911 and reported the incident and the dispatcher said there was another report and the police were checking it out. He said they would call me back if they learned anything and, at about 11:15 that night they called me back to tell me there was a similar report from someone in Willow Grove, but that they still did not determine anything more. I contacted the Air Force and they suggested calling the FAA. The FAA suggested I contact MUFON.

We were having a cookout outside at our house when we spotted what looked like a plane(we live a few miles from an airport) or star– and thought nothing of it. However, when we noticed it was moving very slowly, we decided to keep an eye on it since planes don’t move that slow and stars don’t move at all. Over the course of twenty minutes it had moved up then to the side, gone down and back up again and continued a random up and down pattern, all while pulsating multicolored lights.My mom sister,and I grabbed our high power bonoculars to get a better picture of the object, we took turns looking at the object and I got a look at its definite shape for a few short seconds maybe 10 or so and quickly sketched it–it had a teardrop moon crescent shape. We felt overwhelmed with anxiousness to be witnessing such a thing and henceforth, decided to file this UFO report.

9 PM First, I saw a bright white light streak across the sky. My Husband missed it and we argued the fact that it could have been a shooting star. I was very excited and sure it was something else. Later I decided to sit outside and watch the sky for a while. After about 10 mintues a bright orange light appeared. It looked like a planet or something, but it just APPEARED. I watched it thinking maybe it was hidden behind clouds before, but I couldn’t see any close to it…soon it started flickering and disappeared! I knew I saw a ufo! I ran in to get the Hubby and I looked out the window and there it was again! This time RED and bigger!!! We rushed outside and looked at it thru binoculars and saw that it was not blinking like a plane, just pulsed. This time it was moving, very slowly south, as we noticed a plane pass it much faster. It again disappeared! My Husband went inside because his stomach was hurting so I ran to get my sister from next door. As soon as we came out it was back! And it was BRIGHT BRIGHT RED! My sister was like omg it really is a UFO!!! We watched it for about 3 minutes. It pulsed but stayed in one spot before it flickered and disappeared once again. It did not come back this time but My family and I are fully convinced of what we saw!

Noticed a very bright light through the window and at about 30 degrees above the horizon in the eastern sky (almost due east). As it wasn’t moving, nor were red lights blinking, I knew it wasn’t a plane, so got my sister who said, “That IS weird,” and asked for the binoculars. We stood on our loading dock that is raised some four feet above the patio so as not to have any obstruction from trees or power lines. We wondered if Mars wasn’t particularly bright–but this was far too bright (and not red) for a planet. We managed to get the binoculars adjusted and my sister described what she saw: “I really don’t know How to describe it. It looks organic. It’s got a swirl of smoke or mist around it. And it’s like it’s being eclipsed by a round object.” I snatched the binoculars and managed to find it also. The best description I can offer is that it appeared to be a gold/copper colored yin or yang symbol with swirls of mist on the outside. I saw what my sister meant by the eclipse, as that was what was creating the yin/yang look. To me it appeared that the entire visible surface was stippled with lights or had a very pocked, though highly shiny gold surface. The object then blinked out for perhaps two seconds, then was back but some three degrees lower in the sky. (We were using the vastly scientific method of determining movement by guaging it by the electric line coming into our building. Most of the time we were looking at it, it was directly over the lowest sag in the line. Then suddently it was a good deal higher than. Another blink out and it was below the line.) We called my sister’s daughter who deemed it a planet on a glance outside. We watched it for a while longer, then individually drew pictures of what we had seen. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. the object was still visible in the eastern sky, and still in the same location.

I was picking up my girlfriend’s sister from her house and I had previously read that you can contact aliens through telepathy, so I thought as hard as I could the words “I want to meet you”. I exited my vehicle and looked to the stars, but what I saw was much closer. Just over one of the houses, I saw a shape start to move. It was about 15-20 feet wide and 10 feet tall. It was a disc and had panels on the bottom that looked a lot like lights. I started to panic and I think they had picked up on it. The ufo was stealthed though, the outline was distinctly moving and it was close enough that I could make out very clearly what it was. The ufo disappeared completely after about 5 visible seconds. It vanished into thin air, I can’t believe I blew my one shot at meeting aliens.
