live in nassau county, long island. this ball of light was huge, a very distinct orange glow to it. If you were outside in my area, it will be reported by others. It was a once in a lifetime sighting. could have been a meteor, not sure. I was so shocked and confused as to what i was looking at, and it lasted for a very long time. Outstanding….

On the night of March 13 2011 at approximately 11:30 pm at my house in northwest Las Vegas Nevada I opened my back door which faces due north to smoke a cigarette. I stood in my doorway as I usually do and lit my cigarette. After I lit it I took a drag and immediately saw four very large red lights to my left in the western sky. They were approximately 1-2 miles away, 500 feet high (about 40 degrees), pill size, slightly pulsating, completely silent and travelling west (from left to right). The four lights seemed to be seperate objects travelling like a snake, perfectly spaced apart, following one another, taking as much space in the sky as if you held up two pencils in your hands with your arms extended out. I immediately realized that ive never seen anything as big or as fast. I believed I was looking at four possible UFO’s. They were moving so fast I knew I didnt have time to grab my phone to record it so I decided to just watch this amazing event. The objects banked left while dropping elevation and began heading north, passing through a small gap in a mountain range that is about 5 miles away that also goes from west to east. Immediately after the last red light was out of my sight, military jets came from the east and west, travelling side by side in pairs. About a dozen total. They were travelling very fast and were very loud flying back and forth as if they were looking for these objects. I saw the lights for about 10 seconds or so and the jets were in the sky for about 3 minutes and then flew off. I didnt notice any other aircraft while the lights were visible. I truely believe I saw four unidentified flying objects that were bigger and faster than any man made objects that were followed by many military jets that were looking for these objects. I believe the entire event took about 4 minutes.

Sighting #1 Revere Mn
Stepped outside, sky was clear, looked up and said do see that satellite? It was heading north. Then we noticed a second satellite heading south. As they pated in close proximity, the north bound one disappeared. The south bound one stopped. The color was amber/orange. The object started zig zagging then stopped. A short distance away, we saw a light of the same color come on. Then they both zigged zagged some then stopped. I grabbed my binoculars and looked up. That is when I noticed there was what appeared to be 5 different colored lights. They also appeared to be chevron shaped. After about 20-30 minutes, a third object appeared. That too, zig-zagged in the sky then stopped. Again we could see different colored lights. We also witnessed that they would just disappear. Then the lights would come back on. They appeared to be stationary when this was done. About another 10 minutes later, we saw a very bright sphere appear out of know where the streak off to the southwest at an extremely high rate of speed. This was just a second in duration. This was all witnessed by six people.

We were all astonished at what we seen. We have never seen anything like this.

Sighting #2
Walnut Grove, Mn. about 1 AM on the 23rd of Aug. We were outside watching an approaching thunderstorm with an immense amount of lighting. I thought the storm was moving to the south east vice east. I noticed a star to the northwest. My wife said the was a plane because the oject was moving slow. Again, the object was on a straight path then changed direction instantly. The object appeared sphere in shape and yellow/red in color. This object zig-zagged also then hovered. It appeared the object would zig-zag in conjunction with the lighting. It appeared to remain at the edge of the storm. We watched this for about 15 minutes. The object was stationary and a constant color when the object just turn off the light. We did not see it again.

It was December 17th, 2011, at about 9:30 PM CST.

I was watching a movie with my wife Karen when we heard what we thought was a loud truck or piece of farm equipment outside (we live in the country). It continued to get louder, then much louder. Our dog’s ears laid back and she started to growl. I muted the TV. The sound increased as whatever it was got closer. It was then the house started to vibrate and a high pitched whine (the sound you hear before a crash)mixed itself with the roar that sounded like a jet engine with a slow, low RPM. My wife cried out “Something is going to hit the house!” I rushed to the front door and opened it to see what it could be. As I opened the door I got scared. I truly believed that a jet or something huge was about to hit the house or the neighborhood. “Oh my God” I said. “It’s going to crash!” I have a roof over my front porch so I couldn’t see directly overhead. By then the noise was scary. I ran through the kitchen and out the back door onto the deck as I shouted for my wife to come out. She ran out just as the object was passing by overhead no more that two to three hundred feet above us and to my left. I can’t tell you how stunned I was. The object had passed by and now I could just see the back of it. It was larger than my house and completely black except for the four visible lights on the back of it. One white light in each corner with two smaller red lights toward the bottom and slightly inward. “What the hell is that?” I asked, not believing what I was witnessing. “Karen, objects that big can’t go that slowly and remain aloft…it’s impossible. I know the stall-speed of a small plane is about 55 or sixty MPH. This thing was doing 25…maybe. I wish I could describe the sound of that engine more accurately. It was the most powerful thing I have ever heard. The freaky thing is that it was just idling. That thing wasn’t turning 1500 RPMs. It was just idling and carrying that ship easily, quietly, except for the engine noise which sounded as though it were coming out the back. No color. No flame. No heat. Freaky. It just drifted along at maybe 25-30 MPH. Incredulous. Anyway, we watched it fade over the field behind our house then my son came out and we could still hear the engine fading after the craft had disappeared for maybe twenty more seconds.

My son was back in his room with earphones on and heard nothing until he came out back. He heard it then but it had faded from sight. So we jumped in the car and ran down our zig-zaggy country roads in an effort to see it again but to no avail. This thing was going as the crow flies and we never saw it again.

The next morning at church I asked if anyone had seen the object Friday night. Most had already gone to bed. However, Mike (who lives over the hill)said his dogs went crazy at 9:30 and when he went out to check he heard what he thought was a sonic boom then sirens but saw nothing.

That’s about it. Oh, one more thing. This morning at the library a family heard me asking if anyone there had seen anything strange on Friday night when a woman and her two young sons (12 & 8?)approached me and the boys said at about 9:30 Friday night they heard it and went outside and the older one caught a glimpse of it. The younger child stated to me that his TV remote went haywire and started changing channels on its own and doing strange things. None of that happened to me.

Well, that’s about it. I am dieing that I didn’t grab a camera but it was already too late by the time I figured out it was something weird in the sky above the house. The entire event probably took 30 or forty seconds. But it was awe inspiring to see something that big move so slowly through the air so close to the ground. And it was loud. That engine sounded as though it had the power to leave the planet. It effortlessly carried that huge craft at a mere idle. Freaky.

Okay then, that’s my very true story. We live in an area that has a good bit of very loud military helicopters and large cargo planes that traverse the skies but this was none of those…not even close.

Driving to work, it was dark at 6:20 in the morning. I noticed something in the sky that at first I thought was a airplane. but the closer that I got i noticed that it did not move. There were very bright lights on the bottom of the craft on each side. I watched it for about 5 min. As I drove off I turned around to see if it was still there and there was no sing of it or any other light in the sky.

November 20/2011 @ 17:30 Hrs Pacific Time.

Traveling Alone Northbound U.S.Hwy 395 @ Just North of China Springs Road/Douglas County,Nevada.

FYI:Driving full sized Pick-up Truck with 100%,360 Degree View.

At the top of hill overlooking Gardnerville,Nv with line of sight view to my left is East Peak Nevada 10,000′ Elev, with Lake Tahoe Basin on other side,the sun was starting to set, but do to partly high clouds not as bright as would be if clear skies.

Object was a Blue/White(RE:Arc Welding Arc)Desending at slight angled path to North, Starting above Cloud Cover then penetrating the Cloud formation,at extreme speed that i could only estimate if object had been much much closer, cloud cover was about 10 miles West of my location.

However i saw object above and through raincloud and come out bottom, lluminating inside of cloud, object continued north at very high rate but slight angle Possible 10 to 20 degrees.

Object then before either going behind Genoa Peak 9,000′ Elev or into it, turned a Red Color (Not orange/red) described as like a road flare, then disapeared out of visual range or burned up, but at no time was there ever a trail, it was very clean looking, solid white/blue arc turning red, the gone.

Could had been a Meteor? Ive seen meteors at night and they burn up long before getting to where i last saw it, and it was still light outside.

I would think at the altitude i last saw it, it either recovered out of my visual range or it hit the ground on the West side of Genoa peak or into Lake tahoe on Nevada side.

i it was a night like any other,i stood on my doorstep to have a cigarette at 2.00 am, i looked at the stars like i always do and noticed that one “star” appeared to be moving, after letting my eyes adjust i witnessed the star like object split into two but still apeared to be connected by a shaft of light, the objects then moved through the sky erratically before coming to a standstill, the object then repeated the process again and again for hours, through out the sky there were much smaller objects travelling in groups at an incredible speed between the bigger, brighter objects, amongst all this, i noticed two star like objects, with a yellowish glow and a red light, these objects were emitting arcs of light in unison, this continued untill the sky became light, the objects were still there but not very visible due to the sky becoming lighter, my girlfriend was a witness to my initial sighting, we were both stunned to witness this event, i am not usually the kind of person to make a fuss but this was too strange to go unreported, i would appreciate it if this message was acknowledged.

The very first time an event occured I was visiting my mother in the next county over and my Husband called my mothers phone and asked me to go outside and wanted to know if i could see the same thing.When i made it to the front porch I had a very clear veiw of the whole night sky and thier was a dime sized looking orbing moving strangly across the sky.It was very bright and looked as if it was just a star, so initially i just dismissed the occurance as a satalite or something of that nature.
The next time I saw the Object it was barely dusk. I saw what i thought was a very bright star on the horizon.The Object seemed like it was getting bigger and moving closer, but my husband and I were driving down a winding road, so i stayed will my initial thoughts on it being a bright star. Until it looked as if it were right on top of us following our car down the road…I got this feeling like whatever it was knew i saw them. I told my husband I thought i was seeing the weird orb again but by the time he looked we thought it was gone,so he had me open the sun roof and it was directly above our car., as soon as he noticed it also it changed course and dissapered into the mountains.
This third and last time my husband and i were coming home just after dusk driving down I-5 on the way back home we were coming down the mountain back to our home and I s=again saw this bright Light but did not think it was the same thing…Until we got closer i started to watch it move this time i was ready and got one picture off before my camera quit working ,i had my husband pull to the side of the road at the bottom of our driveway so i could take a picture on my digital camera,we were sitting still with my arm rested and the oobject also looked to be stationary at the time of the photo,but when i looked at the pic it looked like it was a strand of christmas lights or something.

one of my sons was leaving for his home and i walked him out after he had driven away i stayed on the front deck for a few minutes and was smoking a cigarette we live in the adirondak mountains by the canadian border were off the grid and have to make our electricity my view of the sky is incredible theres no buildings or lights of anykind were on top of a mountain by ourselves so almost daily were out looking at the skys its beautifull up here so iwas smoking my cigarette looking at the sky its been a bit cooler up here latley so the sky was very crisp and clear tonight and you could see alot of stars well straight out in front of me about 30 degrees up i noticed a star that seem to be flikering imediatly dismissed as plane cause also noticed red in the strobe finished my smoke and stayed out there thinking about hunting season and how i need to cut wood noticed again the strobe and noticed it hadn’t really moved which a plane could not do so i started to stare at it and noticed there were more colors there was red green blue yellow and white watched it for about five more minutes it stayed motionless so i went inside and told my other kids to come outside and check this thing out my sons who witnessed it with me are 27 and 23 my sister and brother who also witnessed it are 27 and 18 they all came out and saw the same thing then i thought to get a rifle scope to see it through wow it was much clearer you could see each light seperately the were flashing in a weird pattern some would stay on while others blinked then the others would stay on while the other ones blinked tnen theyd all blink while they blinked you could see it was a large square or triangle shape i thought to try to get somekind of photo but honestly were not rich people and i dont go in much for the technology stuff i tried the camera on my cell phone but we have old crapy prepay type phones and nothing showed up but black sky we do have a cheap older digital cam but the batteries were dead so we continued to stay and watch as it started to jump around a bit it would go left right up down circles spirels we watched it for about an hour then came inside about 45 minutes later my son checked and it was gone we were all left feeling amazed and excited so i figured we’d share it with you thanx

At approximatly 9:07 pm I was in my front yard (which faces the East) watering my trees, when I looked up in the sky because of a light that had appeared at about 20-25 degrees Southeast of where I was standing in Abilene, Texas. The light was a single light at first, then divided until there were five lights in a row turning on one after another from left to right. I realized exactly one year ago I had seen the same lights and actually recorded and had given a copy of this video to a local TV station which aired the video. I have recorded these lights multiple times over the past year. They first appeared on Oct 6, 2010 and continued at exact times every day for a week in the following months: October, November, December, January, and February (starting in 2010 and ending in 2011). I had not seen them since then, until tonight.

These lights have always started at around 8:30 PM and continued until 9:00 PM every day until daylight savings time, after which, the time changed from 7:30-8:00 PM. Another observation I made was that neighborhood dogs always started barking right before I would see the lights. These lights have appeared as singular lights and multiple lights, up to five at a time. These lights also appeared in multiple areas of the sky at same time.

I know that several other people have seen these lights in the Abilene, Texas area. I also know that these lights could not be military flares due to the burn ban which has been in effect in our area for several months now. Along with the burn ban, the fact that the wind was blowing at a constant 25 to 30 mph (along with gusts of up to 40 mph today), made it improbable in my mind and the minds of other eyewitnesses, that military flares could not have stayed in these exact formations as long as they did.
