It was Christmas Eve, me and my family were outside smoking in the cold. I seen that my neighbors were outside as well. They walked over with their 3 young kids and asked if we were outside looking at what was in the sky. We didn’t know until they came over to show us two bright orange red objects in the sky flying next to each other, then stopping. I took my iPhone out to record them and bought a good 25 sec of them before going inside to get the rest of my family to show them so they didn’t think me and my cousins were crazy. My neighbor had told me that their were a lot of people pulled over on the main road near my house looking at these objects. They then disappeared, until a half hour later another one came along doing the same thing, flying and stopping, flying and stopping. Very strange, and I am one not to fall for ufo stories or what not. I uploaded my video to youtube, and submitted it to many blogs and sites so I can get more of an understanding from people who study this stuff. I would love to hear your input on this.

Was driving home from my parents house after Thanksgiving dinner around 9:25. They live on top of a mountain overlooking the eastern part of Candlewood Lake. I came over a rise about 1/3 miles from the house and saw two red lights to the southeast about 20 to 25 degrees off the horizon. I drove about another 1/3 mile to a clearing where I had clear view to the east, south, and west. That’s when I saw more clusters of red lights to the south and west. They appeared to come straight at my position from the southwest and arced to the southeast and disappeared, coming the closest about one mile from my position. There were over 15 lights in loose clusters of 3 to 4 lights per cluster moving independently from oneanother. The lights were not attached to any solid object, I could see stars between the lights. The lights were about 20 times larger than navigation lights on airplanes. I observed them for about four minutes, during that time the lights were consistent in size and shape. They didn’t pulsate, flicker, change color, or make any sound.Their speed was roughly about 60 to 80 mph. After about three minutes of observing I called 911 and was connected to a Brookfield CT dispatcher to see if anyone else was watching the lights. He said know one has. As I was talking to the dispatcher the last cluster of four lights were passing to the south of my position. At that time a private jet passed over my head at roughly 5000 feet, traveling from the south and going north. At that time the jets engines were the only mechanical sounds I was hearing. The night was crystal clear and the temperature was about 35 degrees. Visibility was excellent almost to the horizon and there was no wind.

My girlfriend and i were out on my front step and we notice lights. We thought it was just lightning at the time until it started changing colors and gradually fading from one color to another. It would flash in patterns, then randomly. We couldn’t see the object itself, but i never seen lightning do anything like that before. It lasted for about a minute and i ran inside the house to grab my mom, but when we came outside, my girlfriend informed us that it had stopped. We were both pretty amazed at what we had witnessed and wish we knew exactly what it was.

I was leaving my house at approx 8:40 pm and noticed that the large star-like orb seen for the last two nights was still there but much larger. It was in the eastern sky after the sun set at about 70 degrees. I didn’t expect anything but it suddenly started to descend. I ran inside to grab the camcorder and managed to get very little of its descent, as by that time it was fading as it seemed to get further away as though it was moving to the southeast. Shortly after, about 3 minutes, there was what looked like a meteor traveling the same southeast direction (about 1 second with a very short trail) but at a very low altitude (lower than the orb).

On November 8, 2011 in Tampa, Florida at approximately 8:02PM (Roughly) I was headed towards Lee Roy Selmons restaurant via Memorial Highway to then get on the Veterans Expressway. I was headed towards the airport, so East. I was right by the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple in an area called “Town and Country” Keep in mind, I live nearby to the airport and am quite used to seeing airplanes and helicopters. I have seen some UFO’s in the past (about 5) but never made a report, but considering I took a video of this one, I see no excuse not to. Why did I have a camera with me to go out to eat? Especially my new one I just got for a trip? Good question. I’m one to definitely trust my “gut” and since my buddy recently had a sighting on Hilsborough and Racetrack Rd (my extremely skeptical friend who DOES NOT believe in this stuff), I felt the need to trust my gut and bring my camera with me. Its really just for pictures (Canon PowershotSX 150) but videos are always fun. So yes, a gut feeling told me to bring my camera and I did. Within about a mile of my house, I see this Orange Orb-like object quite low than what a normal airplane would be doing in the area. Living by the airport, you get quite used to seeing many many objects in the sky, and I knew IMMEDIATELY that this object was not normal. First, it was low and I could tell it was low. I had perspective. It loooked like a floating Jack O Lantern, a floating pumpkin, or some sort of illuminated object. But it wasnt lit from within, it was lit on the outside as well. When I say floating, I don’t mean that it was ascending, not by any means. It did NOT ascend at all. I saw it coming towards me, below any cloud cover and much lower than any airplane. Do you realize how strange it is to see something and know IMMEDIATELY that it shouldn’t be there? So I quick pulled over to a blocked entrance to a Scottish Rite Masonic Temple. I got my camera, turned it on and had enough time to catch the object seemingly pass over the Masonic building and continue its path along Memorial. Memorial does curve, so it’s difficult to tell which way it was heading. I want to Say Northwest, over the bay. Not entirely sure. However, when I did see it, it was headed straight toward me (seemingly) on Memorial. I got out, saw it basically above me car, but out like 300 or 400 yards. It is difficult to judge distance when you don’t know the size of the object you are seeing. To me visually, it looked like a large Basketball. Giving off Orange Hue. Glow, whatever you want to call it. There were NO FAA LIGHTS. And it was coming from the direction of the airport but not in any flight pattern I’ve ever seen. (When its windy, yes, the runways change) but it was too low to be an airplane from the airport, because it was unlike any flight plan i’d seen. It was moving in the same direction as Memorial Hwy, it was moving (from my vision) left to right if I’m facing the building that was in front of me. It did not ascend, it kept a distinct flight path. It moved quickly, but for how low it was, I would bet it was moving about 60 or 70mph. I do have contacts but I was not wearing them. Way too low, not ONE Flashing light. And thankfully, I caught an airplance in my shot. Unfortunately, I have a typical UFO video in that its shaky, and there are little reference points. I tried to do my best, but it all happened so fast. I zoomed in too much causing it to be blurry and zoom in RIGHT when the airplane was flying over it. But at least I caught that.
So again, I saw an object, headed toward me, I saw it from my field of Vision while driving. It was low enough for me to basically slam on my brakes and pull over meaning that I knew it was abnormal as far as an airplane or helicopter are concerned. It couldn’t have been a Hot Air balloon. It couldn’t have been a remote controlled helicopter and it wasn’t a blimp (Ive seen plenty living in Tampa) However, suppose it was a Chinese Lantern, well, it wasn’t internally lit. and it moved laterally not up. Never once to did it seeem to rise in height. My first thought was “Wow, that looks like a pumpkin shooting across the sky.” I have seen a ball of light very similar and at the same height over St Pete beach (I have no visual evidence of this event). About a year after seeing the Orange ball over the beach, i googled it and found out they are seen ALL over Florida (with video) and there is one instance in Indiana, where I’m from. (I saw a pinpoint of white light fly around an airplane over Grissom AFB while driving by and saw an Orange Orb over the base as well while recounting the pinpoint of light story to my sister…) the more you get into the UFO phenomenon, the more you notice the synchronicity of when and where you see them, and yes, they do seem to know when you see them.
So I had the sense literally IMMEDIATELY upon seeing this pumpkin (at this point, coming toward me) Upon stopping, hopping out and grabbing the video, the object was now over me (but i was looking up at it, not directly up, but definitely below any cloud cover and definitely low enough to realize it was way too low? Hard to explain. No flashing or internal light, outside illumination only. No pulsing really, maybe a slight slow strobe, couldn’t really make out a shape. I could understand if this was a remote control floating Pumpkin, but darn it if it wasn’t out of my sight in about a minute. What kind of long range antennae did this thing have? If it was a prank. IF IF IF, why would they risk being so close to the airport and violating there airspace? Where were ANY flashing lights per FAA regulations?
Just another note, the sighting in June or so from the Gandy bridge, the girl and her boyfriend witnessing a giant object that came up to the bridge, was an aquaintance of mine. I have friends left and RIGHT seeeing things in Tampa. My guess is this, there are SOOOO many airplanes in the sky at all times, that a majority of people don’t take notice to the objects, so in essence, its a perfect environment for them to blend in. The sightings in Clearwater and St Pete (which are all within an half hour drive) are also quite frequent.

I was at home in our house near the center of Andover, MA. I finished up some software programming and web surfing around 2:20am, Aug. 25th, 2011. I walked from my office to our bedroom on the second floor. It was a clear night and I looked out my bedroom window to the West. There are two tall trees with a space between them in the back yard. Between the trees, perhaps 6 inches above the tree line from my perspective, I spotted a starlike object a good distance off, perhaps 1-3 miles if I had to guess. However, I quickly noticed that it might not be stationary. It was not progressing across my field of view in any direction, but it was moving. It appeared to be fluttering or bouncing. It was subtle, so I walked right up to the window and braced myself to try and rule out my movements as a source of the strange behavior. It was still moving. I saw no red or blue lights as required by most/all aircraft. (I’ve taken 20 hours of flight training, so I know a little about small planes, but I’m only a beginner.) I’d say it was as bright as the north star can be at times, perhaps a little brighter. The movements seemed too erratic and significant for either an airplane or helicopter. I scanned the sky and noted no other stars as bright, and in fact, based on the angle and city/town lights, there were only one or two stars easily visible from what I recall. They were an order of magnitude dimmer. I watched for about 30 seconds when I considered grabbing my wife’s iphone 3GS off her night table as she slept. But the object was far enough away that the iphone’s camera (2 megapixel) would not have captured the movement, so I left the bedroom to find my digital SLR downstairs in the kitchen. Unfortunately, while I was in my bedroom, my daughter had woken up, walked to the top of the stairs leading down to the kitchen, laid down and fell back to sleep. I carried her back to her bed in the room next to ours and tucked her in. I retrieved my camera from downstairs and grabbed a more capable lens on the way. By the time I got back to the window, about 4-6 minutes later, the object was gone. In my mind, this ruled out the possibility of it being a star or other celestial body, but I’m no astronomer. I watched periodically for another 30 minutes, but did not see anything. I did some googling and searched twitter from any other recent sightings and noted a recent sighting in broad daylight in Acton, MA. I also read about a correlation between disasters and UFO sightings. The Aug. 23 quake in Virgina was felt in Massachusetts, so this came to mind. My wife had woken up and did a few things while I kept looking. I didn’t want to frighten her, so I saved the story until daylight. In summary, it was very strange. I’ve never seen anything like it. I should have asked my wife for help so that I could keep my eyes on it.

This is not the only sighting I have had but it is the most significant one. It was during the summer and in 1973 we had no AC and was so hot my wife and I were unable to sleep when all of a sudden the entire house was lighting up with red green white and I believe another color. I jumped out of bed and ran into the living room to see what was going on and my wife followed and we went out on the ffont steps and there was a storage building about 300 ft.in front so all we could see was the brilliant circulating lights. They continued over to about the lake and descended and just suddenly went off.in a few minutes my wife went back into the house but I was fascinated and waited to see if it was coming back up.I waited about 10 to 15 minutes and. Suddenly. The circulating lights came back on and started rising and before it was high enough for me to see they went back off and when it got high enough for me to see it was white glowing ball of light I would estimate to be 30 to 30 ft. In diameter and started mooiving north slowly then accelerated at an impossible rate at about a 45degree angle and dissapeared in about a 100th of second before reaching the altitude a normal airplane flies.

I was vacationing with friends in Seaside, Oregon at a house on the ocean from May 5th-10th. On the last night there — May 9th — I first noticed a strange slanted beam of light after dusk — 7:11 pm to be exact. The light was focused, not diffuse, and lasted about five minutes. I took 13 photos of the beam from it’s brightest to fading completely over the five minutes. That same night, at 9:48 pm, I noticed in the same vicinity a bright white glowing light, which appeared brighter that a fishing boat and did not glide across the horizon as fishing boats do. The light appeared stationary. I slid back the window, stuck my camera out in the dark and just started shooting one photo after another. I shot nine photos in two minutes and what appeared on camera is not what I saw. While all I ever saw was a bright white glowing egg shaped light, the photos each reveal something entirely different. The first photo shows a horizontal cylinder of glowing white light with a while line of light hovering above. At the top of the photo appears a brownish object with two red lights. I did not see that. The second photo is a long squiggly line of glowing white light. Two other photos have similar squiggly glowing white lights in different formations. The fifth photo is the most interesting to me. When blown up there appears to be a triangular patterned craft hovering over a glowing triangular light below, with a tube of black appearing to connect the two. The brownish object with red lights is hovering above. The other photos show the simple glowing oval shaped light. Believing I took photos of nothing but a speck of white light on the horizon, I didn’t really pay attention until a few hours later when I reviewed the photos I took that day. That’s when I realized what I witnessed. My friends — not serious believers in ufos — were convinced when the saw the photos, several of which are very similar to those in the book “Examining the Earthlight Theory: The Yakima UFO Microcosm.” My reactions were total excitement and regret that I did not look at the photos I took sooner. I would have taken many more.

On the night of March 13 2011 at approximately 11:30 pm at my house in northwest Las Vegas Nevada I opened my back door which faces due north to smoke a cigarette. I stood in my doorway as I usually do and lit my cigarette. After I lit it I took a drag and immediately saw four very large red lights to my left in the western sky. They were approximately 1-2 miles away, 500 feet high (about 40 degrees), pill size, slightly pulsating, completely silent and travelling west (from left to right). The four lights seemed to be seperate objects travelling like a snake, perfectly spaced apart, following one another, taking as much space in the sky as if you held up two pencils in your hands with your arms extended out. I immediately realized that ive never seen anything as big or as fast. I believed I was looking at four possible UFO’s. They were moving so fast I knew I didnt have time to grab my phone to record it so I decided to just watch this amazing event. The objects banked left while dropping elevation and began heading north, passing through a small gap in a mountain range that is about 5 miles away that also goes from west to east. Immediately after the last red light was out of my sight, military jets came from the east and west, travelling side by side in pairs. About a dozen total. They were travelling very fast and were very loud flying back and forth as if they were looking for these objects. I saw the lights for about 10 seconds or so and the jets were in the sky for about 3 minutes and then flew off. I didnt notice any other aircraft while the lights were visible. I truely believe I saw four unidentified flying objects that were bigger and faster than any man made objects that were followed by many military jets that were looking for these objects. I believe the entire event took about 4 minutes.

I saw 4 UFO’s not moving in the air for at least five minutes. Just hovering there. OCT 8th 2011 3:30pm in Knoxville, TN above my house. Clear sky and they were silver. I went inside tried to find camera came back out and 3 were gone. The last one started moving very slow and when I tried to look in my binoculars to see it and then couldn’t see it so 5 seconds later when I pulled them from my eyes it was gone. I do not know who to go to or to see if anyone else around me seen the same thing. I tried to take a picture with my phone but you cant really see anything but 3 of them and they just look like dots in the sky. Please write back thanks
