I was at my in-laws house swimming when my wife’s aunt called and said she had just stepped outside to have a cigarette when she spotted what appeared to be a group of helicopter search lights in the sky. She watched them for a few minutes and noticed that they had a very unusual fight path. She then asked if I could see them. I went into the front yard and quickly spotted the lights for myself.

They did not appear to be helicopters with search light on to me at all as there was no beams of light being cast and absolutely no sound. They were just balls of bright light.

At first they were clearly spread out four separate and distinct balls of light. Then in just a few short minutes three of them converged into the one central light and quickly separated again. the three that separated from the one then began to circle and orbit the central light in an almost dancing fashion.

This happened several times over and over again for more than an hour.

My wife’s aunt made her husband come out to see these lights and he was beyond dumbfounded. They also called his brother who lives several miles away in Tuslaw, just to see if he could also spot these lights. To our surprise he could also see them and confirmed what we were viewing.

was asleep at 1am and my dog woke me up growling at the window. i looked out and saw a red light over heywood area. at first thought it was a helicopter but hear no noise which at th distance i hear very loud. the object ascended and descended very quickly almost ‘bobbing’ up and down which confirmed wasnt a plane or helicopter (i used to work as a aircraft engineer in the royal navy mainly on the seaking and i would know what an aircraft looks like from tht distance and know it couldnt do the things that object did and with no apparent noise) and hovered for about 2minutes. I ran upstairs to wake up my parents and get a better view from their balcony window and the object was stil stationary and another red light appeared as if from nowhere and they both shot off to the east out of sight.

I am a US Navy veteran, with additional experience as a Security Enforcement Officer, and also as a Park Ranger. It is my job to be critically observant at all times…

On 23AUG12 @ approx. 2030Hrs, I and a companion, who is a US Army veteran, were sitting on Boston’s City Hall Plaza, located behind the New England Center for Veterans, simply “shooting the breeze” as it was a pleasant night with temps in the low 70′s and a light wind from the east @ approx. 5-10MPH, when we both noticed a unique slow-moving light formation coming in from the north.

NOTE: This craft had NO OBSERVABLE port and starboard/red and green lights like those required by FAA regulations on all other aircraft.

We both knew this was NOT a plane, helicopter, dirigible, blimp, hot air balloon, or ultralight, as we are both very familiar with these types of crafts, including commercial, military, and private. (Just moments before, we had observed a plane heading from northwest to southeast on its approach to Boston’s Logan Airport, and this craft DID NOT resemble, IN ANY WAY, this plane or any other known aircraft.)

It moved steadily from north to south without flight deviation of any kind, travelling (at a guess) about 25-35MPH. As its approach got nearer, we noticed that there was NO SOUND whatsoever, and, as it passed directly overhead, we noticed that it was a triangular shape, the outer frame of the structure black in color from what we could see, with an inner indentation inside the outer body of a lighter black/dark gray color. The craft had three (3) bright white lights edged with a thin outer golden color on each corner of the triangle, with a very bright LARGE white light with the same golden edge to it in the center of the craft, and at the stern/aft portion of the craft were two (2) red lights just readily seen equidistant from one another at the edge of the outer frame of the craft. I drew a colored detailed sketch of this vehicle as it passed slowly overhead.

This triangular craft continued without flight deviation due south until it passed over some buildings and out of sight.

We count ourselves fortunate to have been witness to such a sighting as the one described in detail above.

Looking mostly north as I do because of seating arrangement in hot tub I was sitting with the water jets on so there was a slight ambient noise from the spa pump but it is not very loud. Nothing else, no air conditioning, no other appliances no barking dogs. I enjoy spotting satellites and shooting stars and so my gaze is usually strait up or northward
The object flew into my field of vision ,silent, no jet noise, no propeller sound no helicopter rotor wash no after burners and it was moving very, very fast. At first I thought it might be an Owl but there was no movement to any part of the craft that would suggust flapping wings We had the thunderbirds here two weeks ago and comparing their acrobatic stunts with this object it was at least twice their speed I would guess 4 to 5 hundred miles per hour.

It seemed to cast a short glow directly in front of the craft maybe 8 feet or so but it appeared misty ,dull in appearance light orange glow not bright like landing lights would be. The night sky was clear, no moon at the time many stars. The craft was illuminated from below by street lights and the security lights on adjacent homes. There was a slight metallic glint to the object from those lights that if I had to describe it would be cone shaped with the large end projecting the light. It may have had two protruding arms that seem to be defined by the lights.They were very short however and could have been antenna or instrumentation of some type.

This is not my first experience sighting unknown craft so I generally feel a little smile cross my face when it happens sort of like seeing a whale come along side a cruise ship. (a special event).

The object went behind a large maple tree and was out of sight after that the whole thing lasted 3-4 seconds

after midnight i was walking my dog in the parking lot, looked up, and saw a series of 10-12 orange lights, conistant in color, with no blinking. they were moving at the same speed and didnt change position relative to each other or altitude either. they were low enough to be seen passing behind the roof of my complex and through the trees. i have video of the last 4…they were steady in speed, there was no vapor trail, no sound of helicopter blades, no flashing lights…so im not sure what i saw.

I walked outside to my backyard to have a smoke. I looked up at the sky directly above me and it looked like a giant star was zig-zagging across the sky. it flew in a south east direction towards the moon in a zig zag pattern. When it appeared to be directly in front of the moon it began to descend then abruptly disappeared. The object was far brighter than any star i have ever seen and stood out next to the moon. My father also witnessed the object. This was no comet or meteor. It was no plane or helicopter or balloon. The object moved way to fast and flew way to high to be anything of the sort.

I was driving southbound on old U.S. 131 at the southern edge of Reed City, MI. My girlfriend and I observed four round lights going across the road to the SE. One light was slightly ahead of the other three. The lead light on the remaining three objects circled around to the right of the trailing three lights. Then, the first three lights formed a triangle with the remaining light fading from view. The lights were extremely close and we should have seen the trailing object but it disappeared. After the objects formed a triangle the two objects behind the lead object disappeared even though they were still close. Then, the lead object disappeared as it flew far out in the SE direction. The lights when seen crossing the highway weren’t very high off the ground. I’d say under a 1,000 ft. They were very bright. We pulled off the road by the Michigan State Police headquarters and watched them. We didn’t know what they were except that we had never seen anything like it. It definitely was not a plane or helicopter. No sound was heard. I’d say we watched it for 3 minutes or so.

Saturday evening August 11, 2012 at about 10:45 PM, my wife and I decided to go out in our front yard to see the Perseid meteor shower. Standing on our sidewalk with our porch lights out, we were watching the sky directly East, glancing North and South, scanning the entire visible sky for meteors. We saw a couple of shooting stars.
While I was looking in a different part of the sky, my wife noticed 3 medium to bright white lights in a triangle moving across the sky. She told me to look, pointing to the sky above us. I looked up at about an 85 degree angle and saw 3 steady medium to bright (compared to the stars) white lights in a perfect triangle directly over us traveling in a perfectly straight line from North to South.
I couldn���t judge its size or distance from us, there was no reference. Looking up at it in the night sky the triangle was about the size of the full moon when it���s at its azimuth in the night sky.
The lights did not change their positions in the triangle, maintaining the same precise distance between each of them as they traveled, in a perfect triangle, appearing as though they were a solid object. We couldn���t see anything in the middle of the triangle; it was the same color as the rest of the night sky. There were no other lights.
There was no sound, it was completely quiet. It was like watching the International Space Station cross the sky.
We continued to watch them as they traveled South, not changing speed or direction. At about 45-50 degrees above the ground (above the tree line) they all began turning simultaneously in a clockwise circle, as though they were rotating on a fixed point in the center of the triangle. They all maintained the perfect triangle shape during the turn, appearing as though it was a single solid object. They made a 180 degree turn and the 3 lights moved into a single straight line parallel to the ground, maintaining the same distance between them as when in the triangle shape.
Once they were parallel with the ground the left light shot off to the East, the middle light shot off South, and the right light shot off to the West. They shot off so fast it appeared they as though they just blinked out. They were gone.
I looked at my watch; it was 10:49 PM. We continued to watch for them for some time after, but didn���t see anything further.
We���ve never seen anything like this before. We have lived about six miles as the crow flies, to the East of the Boeing Aircraft Plant, and Paine Field in Everett, Washington, for 19 years. We know what different private planes; private and commercial jets, helicopters, and old WWII planes look like and how they sound at different altitudes both day and night. We also know there flight paths. This was not a plane or helicopter.
It was dumbfounding when we first realized what we were seeing and while we watched it. The silence was scary. When they started turning in a circle while maintaining the perfect triangle shape, it amazed and confused us. We couldn���t comprehend what we were seeing. When they shot off, it scared us. We���re frightened and confused. This was absolutely astounding! I must find out what it was that we saw.

Well my family (younger brother, younger sister, and mother) were all driving 35 South heading back from the forum, when my younger brother pointed out a strange object; it was a silver elongated aircraft, bullet-like in its shape, and it was pretty high up in the sky, about 900ft up, traveling very fast in the Southwest direction. The time was approximately 8:10 PM when this was pointed out. About a minute later it suddenly shifted, and instead of the silver bullet shape it had previously, it shifted to an orb-like shape and was reflecting an unnatural red-orange glow, not bright enough to be a star, but it was metallic looking and certainly reflected more light than the average helicopter. We followed it down to O’Connor Rd, and stopped briefly at a motel to better observe it from our car, but then the orb suddenly became plural as another one appeared seemingly out of thin air. It changed direction soon after that and we followed it to a Valero on O’Connor Rd and we stepped out of the vehicle to follow it more, and it was about this time (about 8:19) that there was not one, but three orbs all reflecting the same orange-red glow, and all looked to be approximately the same size, and it changed direction once more before all three orbs suddenly changed back to the original silver color and then vanished. And right after it vanished, a plane zoomed into our line of sight.

Arrived home at 10:20 pm PST, walking from car to house, whole family looked up and saw slow moving very bright orange light, bigger and brighter than any visible star or planet. At first suspected it was a satellite, but it was too low and it’s speed was not consistent. Seemed to hover, move along, hover. It was low enough to be heard if it was an airplane or helicopter, yet there was no sound coming from it. Followed it visually for a couple of minutes, went in the house, came back out about 3 minutes later, object was still in the same area last seen minutes before. Kept watching it as we walked across the street to the park. Moved slowly across the sky, hovered, seemed to shrink quickly then vanish. Less than a minute later another, or maybe the same, orange light reappeared much closer and lower on the horizon, coming toward us, stopped, hovered, wobbled, changed direction, shrank and vanished. Waited severeal minutes, nothing appeared. Again, there was no sound.
