9-17-11, 9pm – we were sitting outside and noticed high in the sky and a pretty good distance away – three glowing solid yellow/orange moving lights in the shape of a triangle that moved from east to west in a horizontal path. The triangle retained its shape the entire time we observed it. This was followed by 8-10 more single orbs coming into view one at a time from the exact same spot in the east (behind the trees so we could not see where it was) into the clear night sky and disappearing into the west – where trees also blocked our view to the west but you could visually follow the lights a greater distance that direction. These orbs were in high the sky where you would notice airplane lights. At one point we did see an airplane in the distance somewhat below the orbs. The orbs appeared to be closer to us than the plane. We also noticed a glowing, a pulsating light that lit up a large area of the sky behind the trees, this light appeared caused by something ground level, it shined behind the trees and into the sky below the spot where the orbs first came into view – this reflection of light was similar to what you would see if there were a fire or something, and trees or buildings blocked your view of what was creating the light – but there were no sirens or noise of any kind. We ran to the computer to see if we could find out if there was something happening nearby, fire/emergency, but could find no information. We continued to watch the single orbs come into view one by one and eventually the glowing ground level light was gone when we looked back for it. During this time we also saw 4 rotating searchlights shining up to the cloud cover, the commercial type that are used to promote grand openings and things like. These were shining into the sky underneath where the orbs were traveling east to west, but did not reach up as high as where we were watching the orbs. We do have a small airport in the area but we did not think the searchlights coincided with the airport location. It was pretty hard to tell distances as the backyard we were in was lined with very tall trees and there are many tall trees behind those trees too. One in our group was able to video the sky with his iPad but was not interested reporting the incident or releasing the video.

At my parents house watching tv my mother went outside on the deck and noticed this blinking type of light and after looking through some binac’s she called me outside to have a look. There was one not moving but had 3 lights red, green and white and about every 3 to 4 minutes it would look like it flashed a light away from itself. We looked around and noticed 2 others doing the same thing. During this time 3 aircraft flew around the area.

I normally am a skeptic to these types of events as I do paranormal investigations, but I do not research UFO’s. I looked for any logical explination as to why we were seeing these but could not come up with one unless the military has some new aircraft that I do not know about.

I am familiar with landing lights on aircraft and with military aircraft as I served in the Army.

We observed this object for about 45 minutes then went back in the house. As far as feellings, well nothing really suprises me anymore after doing paranormal research for 15 years

I do not have good enough equipment to get good pictures. I have a cheap digital that really sucks for photos, I have several Nikon film cameras but can not shoot night shots at that distance and I have a video but it is really fuzzy.

I will see if these appear again but if you have any sugestions as how to document these, please let me know.

One other thing I noticed, we are in a flight path for MSP airport traffic but the aircraft that we saw was not following that pattern.

My wife and I had just turned off the TV in our room and got ready to go to sleep. After a short time (5-10minutes) I got up to relieve myself in our Master Bathroom. It was at this time I observed through my bathroom window a some what large pulsating red orb in the sky to the East/North East of my location. The object appeared to be a considerable distance away (at least three miles)and about the size of a silver dollar. I could hear no rotor wash or engines of any kind. As I observed the object it immediately struck me as odd. It literally moved slowly on a straight trajectory and then would zip backwards, forwards, up and down. My area of view is limited by several trees. The observed object stayed within a my clear 15′ field of vision for close to two and a half minutes. It is during this period the object seemed to linger,hover and change location in a millisecond. The object was pulsing bright red with hints of orange and white.
At this point I’m in disbelief of what I’m seeing, so I called out to my Wife to hurry and come look. The object was moving once again on its original trajectory very slowly and was beginning to leave our clear field of vision. As it moved behind the trees it struck me how bright this object was that it could still be made out through the trees. At this point I feared losing sight of the object and threw on minimal clothes and grabbed my camera to head outside. Once I got out I searched the sky for the object but could not sight it. I still have a sense of disbelief in what I saw. It was unlike anything I have ever observed in the sky. It is worth mentioning I served in the US ARMY as a Cavalry Scout and received intensive training in observing and identifying all types of Aircraft and Armored Vehicles.

I am former aircrew in the US Air Force. My husband is currently aircrew in the US Air Force. We both have exceptional vision, and are trained observers of areal phenomena�

For the last few months, we have observed multiple orange orbs maneuvering over, what we think is the Pontiac area of Michigan. The orbs move back in fourth in the sky, and periodically dim to black. Sometimes they flash between white and red, or vanish instantly. These orbs are extremely bright. We began noticing them regularly, over the past month. We first started seeing them periodically, back in July.

On July 9th (approximate date), four of these orange orbs moved directly over our house at about 1,000 ft. They moved slowly and silently. Three stayed in a triangle formation, while the fourth flew behind, varying its direction, just below the others. After moving above us, they slowly dimmed, and appeared as black spheres.

We have been watching for them nightly, and we are able to see them between 3-5 nights out of the week.

We only have a few good pictures, as we don�t have a camera able to take good night photos, and lately, we�ve been seeing them much farther away.

My husband has made every effort to debunk these objects as celestial phenomena, however, he cannot do so. A few nights ago, we witnessed these objects in their usual place, moving back and fourth in the southern sky, just above the horizon. When my husband went to work at 5am Saturday morning, he saw them maneuvering in various formations in the distance. He watched them until they were obscured by trees.

These objects are not leaving the area. Someone with the resources needs to investigate this further. I have never heard of UFOs hovering over an area for such a prolonged time. So far, we have had up to 7 witnesses to this phenomena at a single time, all of whom I believe, are willing to discuss the sightings.

These objects are extremely brilliant; just as bright as Jupiter appears in the sky, if not brighter. They are not stars or planets, and they are not any recognizable aircraft.

I was driving on pershing road in stickney Illinois at around 1:15 am , on Saturday September 25, 2011. I noticed three flickering lights moving slowly across the sky. I pulled over to the side to observe the objects. They looked like about airplance distance. Not an airplane too high or low. The three lights were following each other and began going up higher. I was in disbelief and thought about my cell phone.I took two pictures and videotaped what I could.The three circles looked like they were in a triangular form.They went from bright orange reddish to white. It was a cloudy night so the objects slowly moved behind the clouds and I could no longer see them.

1. Where were you and what were you doing at the time?
Cascade Township park. Myself and several close friends were participating in a outdoor NERF gun war-game called ZOMB, wherein 80-150+ people engage in a “zombie apocalypse” survival game.

2. What made you first notice the object?
Our “squad” was moving along the perimeter of the park closest to I-96. My friend Jason was the first to notice the lights and point them out. We looked NE across the park to see 8 orange glowing UFOs paired off in a staggered formation about 30-40 degrees above the horizon. As we looked across the highway at the Gerald Ford International Airport we saw searchlights moving across the sky over the airport.

3. What did you think the object was when you first noticed it?
My first impression based on the pulsating glow of the objects was that of aerial flares. However the night was breezy and if the objects had indeed been flares they would have been drifting in the wind.

4. Describe the object and its actions and motions in detail.
The 8 objects remained stationary, paired off at equal distance from each other in their staggered formation. No downward fall or drift with the wind currents. The objects were completely silent. (I don’t know who else in the park that night may have noticed the phenomenon although it was clearly visible for at least 5 minutes.)

5. Describe your feelings, reactions and actions, during and after sighting the object.
I was the most excited, I kept asking everyone around me “Are you seeing this? Tell me you’re seeing this.” the sighting was verified by the 5 other people that made up our small ‘squad’ which included several of my closest friends. I was frustrated because I had brought a camera to the event but had left it locked in my car for fear of it being lost or damaged during the course of the game. 6.How did you lose sight of the object?
The objects disappeared one by one over the course of 45 seconds to a minute, I personally witnessed at least two of the objects disappear as we continued moving along the perimeter of the park. By the time we came to a halt, the objects had all vanished.

We were at a Cancun Mexico resort hotel pool side on lounge chairs watching the stars at around 9:30PM. The sky was clear with a few cloud and a rising full moon. We saw what appeared to be a shooting star cross the sky from south to north at a high rate of speed. Approximately 3 minutes later a second “light” appeared at the same speed and direction, both disappeared behind clouds. Approximately 5 minutes later a third “light” appeared going at same speed and direction, however this one made a right hand U turn without slowing down and returned in the same direction that it had come. A fourth “light” appeared approximately 3 minutes later going in a west to east direction. It appeared to be the same color, size, distance and traveling at the same rate of speed. The “lights” did not slow down, change color, blink or make a sound. To compare their speed to airplanes we also saw; airplanes took 20 to 30 seconds to disappear, the “lights” took only a few seconds to cross the sky. The “light” that made the U turn did not change color or fade as it turned, the orange light remained constant as it made the turn. If this “light” had not made the U turn, we would have believe we had seen shooting stars or possible space junk burning up. Now, we are not sure what we have seen, except that I have never seen anything make a high speed turn without slowing down as this object did nor do I believe shooting stars change direction.

Traveling north on prospect. Saw objects in the distance in front of the car. Pulled over to watch. Objects moved slowly and once they passed over us they became invisible. At 10pm it was very dark out side. Looked like lights in the sky, larger than a planet. They slowly moved accross

My children, an adult friend and I were camping out on the back lawn. It was a warm still evening. Very quiet – no city lights. We were looking up at the sky and from the horizon and passing directly over us was this HUGE, silent V shape of 5 lights. It made no sound and traveled in a straight slow line, directly over us. It took about a minute to pass completely and go on it’s course. It looked like the Pheonix Light sighting. I cannot be sure of the exact month or day, but it was 1997. This was prob about 8:00 pm.
My adult freind is a complete non-beleiver in UFO’s and could not believe what we had all just witnessed. We were all silent and stunned at what we had seen. My kids (9 & 4) got scared and we all spent the night indoors.
I’ll never forget what I saw. I never saw anything in the paper about it -and I know that others must have seen it as well.
This was the second incident within a period of about 2-3 weeks of lights in the sky. I will post a second report next. It was of random white lights about 25 degrees off in the distance moving WAY too fast and random to be explained by aircraft of any sort. It was also in Hercules.

Was going to bed, it was about 11.45pm. I was looking out of the bedroom window( we have a very good view over the moors),it was a very clear night, I could see some lights in the distance, I thought at first it was a plane coming in to Bristol airport, as we`re close to the flight path that they sometimes use. But these lights were slightly off the usual path & as i was looking, the light seemed to split in to two (one above the other),so i watched it coming towards us(my wife was there, she observed also). The light was really bright, it seemed there was a lot of glare coming from the window, so i opened them wide, but the glare was still there…from about a mile out, it looked like it could possibly two large aircraft with their headlights on, at this time i could make out flashing lights(like landing lights) so i was still sure it was a plane or possibly helicopters from the nearby naval air base, but, i still had to watch to be sure. It moved very slowly, but it`s path was bringing almost directly over our house, as it came closer I could see it was not 2 sets of headlights, it`s a bit hard to explain, the main light was, a straight line(like a strip light), with 2 more shorter ones going off at roughly 45 degree angles from the bottom. There were about 6-8 flashing landing lights around the main light, as it flew over the house, i put my head right out the window & looked up, all the lights were on the front of it, as it passed it looked flat, i could see the lights pass & make out, like,the start of a cube, but did not see anything after the lights had passed my field of vision. After it had passed then I heard sound, it was a quiet noise, a bit like the sound of an commercial airplane, of which i`ve heard a hundred times before, in the night. After it was gone I asked my wife at least twice “did you see that?”, “yes”.We didn`t speak for about 5 minutes, it was like wow!!, did that really just happen?
