orb travelled back and forth leaving criss cross smoke trails that turned into tiny loops and odd winged like trail

was walking home from my girlfriends work and noticed smoke trail in sky. thought it was just airplane trails, then saw a small glowing orb buzzing back and forth in near 180 degree change of direction. I went and got my phone and filmed the object as well as took pictures. went out 20 minutes later there were two separate paths. went out 5 minutes later the orb vanished. in films you can hear one of my neighbors go OMG!

round sphere, white, that cast changing colors of light to the sides ,very slow

I was taking our three dogs for a walk down our drive way.I was headed west and say a large bright light off to my left.It was large and changing colors.I went back to the house as fast a possible to get my binocs and camera. went back out and watched it for a few more minn. then went in to the house and went up stairs to get a better look, as it was going out of sight. I knew it was a ufo when i first saw it,nothing casts a light like it did . it moved so slowly that it looked like it was standing still at first. Nothing could be that far away and be that big.The center was a large white ball shape that cast light off to its sides ,that must of been miles long. The light changed slowly, not like you see satellites at night change colors but slow.It just kept moveing w.sw. till it reached the tree line and i lost sight of it.MY feeling at the time were mixed.I knew that it was a ufo but my camera is a piece of crap. I text my friend in town to look for it . But she could not see it. I wass pissed ,becouse if i had taken the dogs out earlyer i would have gotten a better and longer look at it. And maybe I could have gotten on video like the last one i seen.

A light in the sky that manovered like a humming bird for 30 seconds.

The day after Charitsmas, on a clear cold night, I took my new ice skates to the ice pond about a block away from home. Nobody was there because it was at night, but there was a lot of moonlight and I could see plenty well enough to skate. I took my boots off and put on my new skates. After skating around for a few minutes, I noticed a light in the sky that didn’t quite fit in with the rest of the lights in the sky. I stopped skating and looked directly at it, trying do get an ID. It was stationary at first and then it appeared to come directly towards me for about a half a second. Then it stopped and hoovered. I could not figure out what it might be. Then it started it’s manovers. It would excellerate half way across the sky, then stop abrubtly. Then it seemed to drop down and swoop up like a bird landing on a branch. Then it would streek acros the sky and change directions without loosing it’s incredible speed. After about 30 seconds of this, I got very scared and ran home. In fact, I was so scared I forgot to take my new skates off and grab my boots. I ran a block on concrete sidewalks and damaged my skate blades. My mom was ferious about the skates and did not believe I got scared of a light. I did not bring up the subject again.

I was a student of avaiation and I knew it was not a helecopter, blimp, ballon, satellite, rocket, missle, aircraft, fireworks or anything I could dream up.

Saw object moving in sky that had appearance of a satellite, but didn’t move or act like a satellite does.

I was serving in the Army in Viet Nam in 1967 and was in the field at Dakto attached to the 4th Infantry Division providing field radio relay and carrier support with the 167 Signal Company. In all of these years, I have never reported this event nor even told many people about it. I am retired now, but had a long career in public service and can be vouched for by many for being a conservative, level headed and highly credible individual.

I stepped out of the shower (to the outdoors as the shower was simply a wood frame with a 55 gal drum on top filled with water and a spigit to release it) late in the evening so it was dark (almost no ambient light in the Viet Nam boondocks)and the night sky visible with no cloud cover. The Viet Nam night sky is almost devoid of stars, except a few scattered along northern horizon and the moon was either not out or not bright. In that type of setting I always look up at the sky as I do anywhere I have a good view of the sky. I am a habitual sky watcher, but not in any amateur astronomer sense, just like to look at the stars, the Milky Way (when camping in U.S.) and watching for satellites. When I looked up, all there was in the sky was an object that was about 40 degrees above the horizon, at about 2:00 o’clock as I stood, I think facing north west. The object looked the way a satellite looks in the night sky in terms of size, shape and refected light, but that is not what it was. Rather than moving in a straight line (although satellites can look a little bit wobbly at times, which this did not)it was moving in a sharp sig-zag pattern, while at the same time moving forward at a speed much slower that a satellite moves across the sky. The sig-zag movement was very sharp and precise in the distance it moved right to left and in the angle it moved forward with each sig and zag. This movement was not erratic in any sense of the word nor was the object wandering in any way. Above for “flight path” I put both “straight line” and “directional change” because although it sig-zaged (very precisly)its forward movement was a straight line if plotted along its axis points. I watched with utter dumbfounded amazement as the object moved across the sky in its zig-zag but forward moving pattern for probably ten to fifteen minutes. During that time, the object’s forward progress across the sky had moved it from about 2:00 o’clock when I spotted it to about my 11:30 to 12:00 o’clock as I was facing. In this amount of time a satellite would have moved all of the way across the sky and out of sight (in much less time than this). This object’s forward progress was much slower that a satellite, even though its back and forth movements were very quick. As the object got to the point in the sky I described as about my 11:30 to 12:00 o’clock (and as I described above it was probably at about 70 degrees), it suddenly stopped and then shot straight up in the sky at an amazingly rapid speed until it just dissapeared. I was dumb struck at what I had witnessed and walked to my tent in wonderment. I new I had seen something not from this world, but have pretty well kept it to myself all these years until now.

This is as true and accurate statement as to what I witnessed as I can relate, but it is still as vivid in mind as when it happened. I hope someone will respond as what is thought about what I described. Above, I didn’t check the box about being kept anonymous. I basically don’t care one way or the other. Do as you see fit.

Thanks,
jlh

2 objects followed by another one

I was lying in my backyard was even playing with my phone and it was as if I had indicated in which direction to look. The first thing I saw was a light red color but because of the distance of the object, which at first seemed like like me and thought it was a plane or satellite since I’ve seen often. But when I realized how fast it moved dude. The address of the object was coming from northwest to east, but suddenly a sharp twist by changing its direction towards the southeast. It was the sudden change in the direction that made me understand that it was not a plane or satellite. That was also when I get to see northern light proceeded from a more intense but more rare This light was a blue flash but changed to white. This object was shining moments and then went dark but when he was no longer shine in the same place, it was like in just a matter of seconds progressed a great distance.Which was verifiable at the time because after 3 appearances progress to reach the first red object above. It seemed as if the red object was to escape the second blue object which appeared to be larger because the light emitted was bigger than the other object.I was on the slope of the whole process until it achieves currencies.
It is not the only sighting I’ve had in my city. Throughout the month of September I had five sightings and all differently. But it seems as if no one else would notice if I am not the only one who has this kind of event in my city I have mentioned to people I care about, and no one gives me a solid answer. The fifth sighting was very surprising when I can not say but if I can describe the phenomenon. The object was orange hue and came from the direction that I was outside on the patio with a cigarette and looking up to heaven to see him succeed, but at that moment I felt like I was not afraid locked but felt as if trying to communicate me It was at that moment when the object back and began to whirl about me and then proceed with your order rumbo.el looked very close as about 800 or 1000 meters. After that experience I have noticed that there has been a shift in my consciousness. And I want to know if it’s normal.
Not by attaching photos or videos because I do not have video cameras alone with my cell phone but it fails to capture the images. I excited about this phenomenon but also I have fear.I had never in my life seen or experienced so far EXPERIENCE so I remained incredulous. That’s something that I can share. Their own criteria to judge nobody forces them to believe.

Low, bright

At about 7:15 pm, Arizona time, I went out my front door to bring up the trashcan. I noticed very bright “neon-green” light low in the sky to my northwest, coming from the direction of Phoenix. Thought it was a helicopter at first, because it was so low, and too slow moving to be a plane. I proceeded to get the trashcan from around the other side of the garage and returned to my front door. As I turned to open the lid of the trashcan I had been pulling behind me, the bright green light again caught my attention, as it was on a path that was approaching my home, but would pass to the north of it.

As I was noticing that there were still no strobe lights flashing as you see on any other helicopters, a brilliant red light that was smaller than but directly above the neon-green light came on. The red light took about 1/2 second to get to full brightness, then stayed bright for about 3/4 of a second, then gradually diminished over another 1/2 second and went out. The red light continued doing this over and over for as long as I could see it, until both of the lights disappeared over the tops of my neighbors homes.

The bright neon-green light never dimmed or brightened from its original high intensity. When the lights had reached a point slightly east of directly north of me here, they suddenly “zigged” to a more directly southern direction, and continued that way in a straight line until out of my sight. There was no arc to the turn, it looked more like a ricochet movement, as if they had bounced off of something in the sky and continued on without slowing down. This happened when the red light happened to be at full brightness, and so it was easy to see the sudden change in direction.

The lights never got closer to, nor farther apart from each other as they flew, so I believe the lights were both attached to a single object, but I could not see the shape of it because of the brightness of the lights.

When it was closest to me (about 1/4 to 1/2 mile)at about 300 to 400 feet in altitude, just before the turn to the south, I could see that the green light was much larger than a light on any aircraft could possibly be. I would estimate 25 to 30 feet in diameter. I kept listening for the sound of a helicopter anyway, and heard no noise whatsoever!

I didn’t report this or mention it to anyone else, because I had just filed a report (my first to MUFON) with you of a sighting I had the evening before. This was a completely different sighting in almost the exact opposite part of the sky, and nothing was the same about it except the brilliant red color.

I felt like “Oh no. Here we go again! Two sightings in two days! Now even the people who believed me the first time are going to think I’m nuts!”

By the time I realized this was something strange again, I had no time to go get the camera. Believe me, I didn’t want to admit that this, too, was something strange I had seen in the sky and couldn’t explain normally. That’s why I kept listening, almost praying that I would hear the noise of a helicopter.

When I heard about the similar green lights that have been seen and reported to you several times in the last couple of days in this area, I thought you should know, in case it would help you to know that those people making those reports weren’t crazy. It IS out there flying around, whatever it is. And whatever it is, it’s not something I’ve ever seen before. And its dead-quiet.

Lights glowing over a mountain, that change intensity and number of light, they multiply

On dec26 at about 11 pm me and my girl friend and a friend went to up to mount Soledad, which is in la Jolla ca, we brought my telescope up there and pointed it to the north east direction where there is a mountain range approx, 15 miles north east of mount Soledad. This mountain is believe part of poway/romona but I’m not sure exactly what the mountain is called. In the middle of this mountain is a canyon space that you can see right through and in this canyon area approx 100 ft about the canyon there are a row of light that point at a angle up above the mountain tops but it starts in this canyon. These lights are glowing orange and will change there glow from being very dim to all of a sudden very bright in a perfect row, when I look in my telescope I can see many more glowing lights circling each other and making triangular patterns. These lights have been there multiple nights. I have seen them twice with my telescope which is a Meade 4501. These lights seem to turn off and on at all different times, sometimes only 4 with be bright then only one then all 4 but what is weird is that they will have little glowing balls spinning around the original 4, these are not planes I have lived in San Diego my whole life and I actually live in the flight path, where I’m looking it is approx 15 miles north of the flight path like I said these lights have been there for multiple nights so I def think we have a chance to investigate

Lights over Charlotte

I, along with 5 others, were sitting on a rooftop in the early morning hours of Sept 11, 2011. I looked up at the sky in a Northern direction and noticed how clear the sky was that night. I was looking directly at the Bank of America Corporate Center building in downtown Charlotte. The reason I noticed it was clear was because there were many stars above/behind the crown (top) of the building. As I was looking in that direction, I noticed a “starlike” object that began to move. At first it moved in a straight line but it became quite clear to me that it wasn’t an airplane because of the change of speed. That’s when I asked the others, “What is that?” The light then stopped for a second or less and then reversed direction. It continued straight for a short period and would change direction again, sometimes briefly stopping. About this time another one appeared and one of the other parties on the rooftop said “now there’s two of them”. As they moved they would disappear behind the crown of the building and reappear on the other side, so it was difficult to tell how far away they were. They really did look just like the stars that were in the sky behind them, except for the nature of their movements. They would both continue to move in this fashion for a couple more minutes before they finally just disappeared. It couldn’t have been a airplane, helicopter or search lights because of the movements they made and the sky was clear so they weren’t reflections.

Bright star like object travelling extremely high and fast

At approximately 7:20pm on 10/1/2011 I along with my friend witnessed a bright star like object traveling at tremendous speed approximately 70 degrees above the horizon flying in a straight line heading south east for an estimated 30-40 seconds, it then made a sharp angle change of direction heading north east for an estimated 1-1m20 seconds.

The light blinked out for 1-2 seconds then came back with equal intensity twice during the sighting. It did this once while heading east, and then again while heading north east. The total sighting length was approximately 2 minutes +/- 10 seconds as estimated.

During it’s flight east it left a light streak behind it for approximately 1 second. The object appeared to go extremely fast and then slow down, yet still it was traveling with a high rate of speed. I estimated the total distance traveled before losing sight of it to be 4 feet to the east and 3 feet to the north east. The altitude of the object was high enough to be equal in size and color to a bright white star.

Just before it changed direction I stepped inside my house and reached for a mini monocular to try to get a better look at it. The monocular was 4 feet from the door and within quick reach. The directional change took place right as I got back outside. Total time to get the monocular is approximately 10 seconds on the high side. The object was traveling so fast I decided against trying to use the monocular because of the time it would take to focus and continued to watch the object until it disappeared from sight by quickly blinking out. After it blinked out I asked my friend if it had performed any other direction changes or movements while I reached for the monocular. He said it continued as I described it here, traveling fast in a straight line and slowing just a bit, then traveling fast again in the same direction until it’s abrupt change of direction. One thing to note is when it changed direction it did so instantly, it did not make a turn, it was heading south east and then north east, that fast.

1. Where were you and what were you doing at the time?
Standing on the darkened porch talking to my friend. I had just looked up to stretch my neck when I noticed a bright star and then saw it move, I told my friend “hey check it out, it’s a satellite.” But when it changed its speed I began to question that and finally when it changed its direction I ruled it out completely.

2. What made you first notice the object?
It appeared to be a star traveling extremely fast across the sky.

3. What did you think the object was when you first noticed it?
Possibly a satellite until it changed its rate of speed and finally direction.

4. Describe the object and its actions and motions in detail.
Please see above.

5. Describe your feelings, reactions and actions, during and after sighting the object.
Initially curiosity followed by amazement, when I first noticed it. Then wonder and intrigue.

6. How did you lose sight of the object? It blinked out of sight. It was there and then just gone.

Three ufo’s appeared over the city, for over an hour with movement and direction change

I left class at approximately 855pm and noticed 3 dots previously unseen in the sky, large groups of people were gathering to see them, they were star like in appearance, only larger. The continued to hover in place for some time almost right over the city, after 30 minutes or so I went inside, coming back out several minutes later. The ufos had moved across the sky, and up to 10 aircraft could be observed circling the sky. After a period of time they disappeared and the aircraft left.
